Do I have exclusive rights to the number?

Yes! You chose your own designated area where you want to control and market the vanity number. You have exclusive rights to the number in your chosen area. Any call placed to the number from within your market area will be routed directly to the phone of your choice. Although the number is “shared” nationally each user has their own specific calling area so each user receives only the calls intended for their business.

Do I need any special equipment?

No. A toll free number needs no special equipment in your office. All routing, tracking and reporting is handled by Ring to Mind. When a customer calls the vanity number from within your designated calling area, the call is directly routed to your phone number.

Why not get my own vanity number from a phone company?

First and foremost vanity numbers are nearly impossible to acquire, they are highly valued and rarely do good numbers come available. Second, the challenge of finding which phone company (there are hundreds) has the rights to the number you want, if that number is even available, is very time consuming. Third, the cost of carrying your own number nationwide may be much more expensive than licensing a shared use number. Fourth, the support and call reporting features that we offer are not economically practical for a small to medium sized user. They would cost a handsome premium or require you to pay an IT expert to set up a system for you. By using a number from Ring to Mind you get all of the support and features for one low price.

How do I receive the phone calls?

With Ring to Mind you purchase the rights to receive all calls placed to a premium vanity number from within a certain geographic area. For example, if you purchase the rights to receive calls from LA County, then all calls placed to the number from within LA County ring directly to your phone. NO middle man, NO operator, NO additional buttons to push for your customers. They dial and it rings at your business just like it does with your regular local number.

Can I keep my local number?

YES! Adding a toll free vanity number does not change your other phone services in any way. All calls ring directly to your phone and require no special equipment. You receive an invoice every month from Ring to Mind for your toll free number. It is really that simple.

How can I be sure you will not increase my fees once I become a member?

Our business model is to provide value, not to nickel and dime our customers with fee increases here and there. Of course rates on phone services may go up over time, just like many other services, but you can expect these increases to be very reasonable. If you are not convinced that we are sincere in this approach we are willing to enter into a longer term contract with you for a set fee. This way your monthly license fee will be set and you can have the certainty that your marketing dollars are being well spent.

How do I access the Call Reporting Feature?

Call Reporting is our real time call tracking system that allows you to monitor all calls, where they come from, how long they last, the number which dialed in and other critical marketing data. The Call Reporting feature is accessed through a password and login which are set up when you become a licensee with Ring to Mind.

Do I have to make a long term commitment?

The terms of the license agreement differ for each number. However, our general practice is that you pay as you go. The more you use your number the better it works. We firmly believe that once you add a premium number to your marketing efforts you will never look back, but, if you are not happy we do not make it a challenge to cancel your agreement.
